HP has confirmed officially the launch of a new ultrawide gaming monitor called the X34. Below you can find info on its specs, features and all the goodies it will offer at launch.
The HP X34 comes with 34-inch ultrawide IPS screen, 400 nits brightness, 165hz maximum refresh rate, 3440 x 1440 WQHD resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits brightness, 1ms GtG minimum response time with overdrive setting, tilt angle adjustment, one HDMI 2.0 port, and one DisplayPort 1.4 input.
The monitor comes with support for both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technologies, so that you can enjoy variable refresh rates no matter the GPU you're sporting. The viewing angles are great on this monitor even though the panel is flat, as the IPS screen is gorgeous and the colors it displays are excellent no matter the content you watch on it.
For those of you that wish to get better ergonomics, then you can easily hook it up with your desk mount as the monitor is VESA 100x100 compatible. The panel is flicker-free, it offers Low Blue Light mode and it is EyeSafe certified. This monitor will be soon released worldwide and we will post an update when we officially learn its pricing and availability.
